Chief Operations Officer
Gary Taylor was appointed Chief Operation Officer of Wise Recycling in September of 2019. Gary has been in the recycling industry since 1980 and has served in different leadership roles for various companies including Reynolds Metals, Source Recycling and Wise Recycling. He has a proven track record of volume growth and financial improvement. Mr. Taylor received a degree from Virginia Highlands College in 1980.
General Manager – Bristol Division
Chris Morehouse joined Wise Recycling in April of 2013. Chris oversees business operations in the Virginia and Tennessee regions. Mr. Morehouse has over 23 years of experience in the metal industry working with various levels of technology in scrap segregation and preparation. Chris earned his Biology and Business Degrees from Central College in Pella, Iowa and is a US Army Veteran.
General Manager – Charlotte Division
Fred Noah originally joined Wise Recycling in June of 2001. Fred oversees business operations in the Greater Charlotte Metro Region as well as South Carolina. Mr. Noah has over 16 years of experience in the recycling industry. Fred prides himself on a management style centered on customer service and maintenance of a safe work environment.
General Manager – Pensacola Division
Harold Stone Joined Wise Recycling in February of 1998. Harold oversees business operations in the Florida, Alabama, Georgia and Mississippi regions. Mr. Stone has over 30 years of experience in the recycling industry. He started in 1986 with Reynolds Aluminum Recycling as a buyer and has advanced through various positions in his career until ultimately assuming the role of General Manager in 2013.
General Manager – Raleigh Division
Jody Standley joined Wise Recycling in 2000. Jody oversees business operations in the Eastern Region of the Carolinas. He has worked in the metal industry for over 18 years. Mr. Standley has substantial experience in supply chain management, demolition project supervision and contract negotiation in various metal markets.
Director – Environmental, Health and Safety
Luke Bryant joined Wise Recycling in 2013. Luke has held various positions in the company leading up to his current role as Director of Environmental, Health & Safety. He has worked in the metal industry for over 17 years beginning with a role at PSC Metals in 2000. Due to the nature of his position, Mr. Bryant spends a majority of his time on-site at facilities conducting safety audits, providing training, ensuring compliance and promoting best practices across the company.
